On November 11, 2014 at Chandler Park in Hearne, Texas Robertson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigator Mike Fisher was honored by the American Legion Post # 454 of Hearne by being named their recipient of the Law Enforcement Award for Outstanding Public Service Benefiting our Community, State and Nation for 2014 as announced by Post Commander Chuck Carlson.

Mike’s military service includes two branches, the Navy and the Air Force. Afterwards he began his law enforcement career with the Kingsville Police Department where he retired with the rank of Lieutenant and 25 yrs of service.

He then moved to Robertson County in 1996 where he served as Police Chief with the cities of Hearne and Bremond. Mike was then hired as a Sheriff’s Deputy in Robertson County in April of 2009 and has served as such ever since.
