We have been made aware of a potential scam circulating in our area. Several residents have reported receiving phone calls from individuals claiming to be collecting money on behalf of the Robertson County Sheriff's Office and local Fire Departments.

THIS IS A SCAM.
NONE of these agencies will ever call you to request money or donations over the phone.

If you receive such a call, do not provide any personal information or payment. Hang up immediately and report the incident to the appropriate authorities.
