City of Hearne Winter Weather Update - Warming Center & Services

The City of Hearne will open the Teal Center at 1302 Milton Street as a warming center:
Open: Friday, Jan. 23 at 12:00 PM
Closing: Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 12:00 PM
Amenities: Water will be provided.
City Services:
Hearne City Hall: Open normal hours on Friday, Jan. 23 and Monday, Jan. 26.
Hearne Police Department: Fielding calls after hours and through the weekend. For non-emergencies, call 979-279-5333. For emergencies, dial 911.
City Response Teams: Extra personnel and equipment will be on standby for ice, water, or electric emergencies.
Road Conditions:
TXDOT is pretreating State Highway 6 and US Highway 190 with two shifts on Friday and Saturday.
Safety:
Hearne Police will patrol the Teal Center daily.
