Outer County Ambassadors Needed

If you live in Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison. Robertson, or Washington County, you have a unique opportunity to support Scotty's House in your community, Outlying county volunteers serve as Ambassadors for Scotty's House and help represent our agency In our outlying service areas. These Ambassadors support Scotty's House by distributing educational materials, staffing our Information booth at local health, agency, and community fairs, and delivering meats to our quarterly Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings. All individuals interested in serving as an Ambassador in our outlying counties must attend New Volunteer Orientation. New Volunteer Orientation will be offered in each county as needed. Applicants must submit a completed Volunteer Application Packet and submit to a criminal background check. Our screening process includes an Interview and file review before acceptance into the outlying county Ambassador program. Volunteer interviews and trainings will be offered locally in each county to accommodate our outlying county volunteer team.
