August 2, 2015

Friday, July 31, 2015 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Deputy Sheriff Wes Edwards responded to a reported residential burglary off F.M. 1644 a few miles out of Franklin. Upon arrival Edwards discovered forced entry at the front door of the residence.

Deputy Sheriff Edwards' investigation led him to obtain a warrant of arrest at approximately 1:30 a.m. from Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 Melanie Green for the suspect, Ethan Sutler, w/m 25 y.o.a., of franklin. Edwards was able to take Butler into custody at approximately 2:30a.m. August 1st in Franklin.

Further investigation by Edwards led to an additional charge of Burglary of a Building against Butler. Deputy S.A. Smith then joined the investigation and he was able to file a second charge of Burglary of a Building on Butler who remains in the Robertson Co. Jail with three burglary charges and bonds in excess of $25,000.00.
